The following defendants pleaded guilty to their charges and paid their fines through the Fine Collection Center, with their names provided to the Republican-Times:
Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $30.50 were Charles Alsup, Belton; Christine Bitner, Weir, KS; Nancy Chaney, Gilman City; Carolyn Dunn, Rushville; Zachary Stephens, Galt; Michelle Ulmer, Chillicothe; James Whitt, Trenton; and Steven Williams, Kansas City.
Brandon Brewer, Spickard, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $80.50. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Pleading guilty to failing to display plates on a motor vehicle and fined $30.50 were Nita Cragg, Gallatin; Andrew Jackson, Ridgeway; Cody Swan, Trenton; and Clarence Thurman, Marceline.
Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $55.50 were Justin Curley, Trenton; Clint Garner, Omaha, NE; and Daniel Trunnel, Prairie City, IA.
Pleading guilty to not wearing a seat belt and fined $10 were Jyssica Long, Denver; Jared Phillips, Trenton; and Katherine Hendren, Galt.
Dustin Russell, Mercer, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10. He also pleaded guilty to not securing a child under 16 in a seat belt and was fined $10.
Brian Walls, Princeton, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $30.50. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Kevin Williamson, Atlantic, IA, pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle with the Director of Revenue and was fined $30.50.
Associate Civil
Portfolio Recovery Associ-ates vs. Cathie M. Baker. A consent judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $6,323.65. The case involved a suit on account.
Security Credit Service LLC vs. Cathie Baker. A consent judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $1,642.82. The case involved breach of contract.
Midwestern Health Manage-ment Inc. vs. Judith Hein. A consent judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $501.60. The case involved a suit on account.
Midland Funding LLC vs. Viola King. A bench trial was set for Feb. 19 in the case, which involved a suit on account.
World Acceptance Corpora-tion of Missouri vs. Richard Leeper. A default judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $501, plus interest and attorney’s fees. The case involved a promissory note.
World Acceptance Corpor-ation of Missouri vs. Brett and Tricia Ewald. The court entered a consent judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $2,013.47, plus interest and attorney’s fees on count I and $500 plus interest and attorney’s fees on count II. The case involved a promissory note.
Midwestern Health Manage-ment, Inc. vs. Bill Brown and Jill Brown. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $2,662.56 on count I, $619.96 on count II and $730.41 on count III. The case involved a suit on account.
North Kansas City Hospital vs. Bradley Johnson. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $5,909.34. The case involved breach of contract.
Midwestern Health Manage-ment, Inc. vs. Tiffany Autry. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $338.38 on count I and $231.43 on count II. The case involved a suit on account.
World Acceptance Corpora-tion of Missouri vs. Ashley Tharp. The court entered a consent judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $781.35, plus interest and attorney’s fees. The case involved a promissory note.
