Third Person Files For R-9 School Board

A third person has filed for a seat on the Trenton R-9 Board of Education, subject to the April 8 election.
Brandon Gibler filed on Tuesday afternoon for one of the three three-year terms to be filled. He is the third person to file for the board as incumbent Dr. David Whitaker and Doug Franklin filed on Tuesday morning.
Persons interested in serving on the board may file at the district office during regular business hours until Tuesday, Jan. 21. The office will be closed Dec. 23 to Jan. 2 for the Christmas break.
