Several specially invited individuals got a chance on Tuesday to see the musical talents of Trenton Middle School students who have been selected for the northwest middle school honor choir and honor band. The students performed several selections for the group, then shared a catered luncheon in the media center. The honor choir, under the direction of Matthew Remus, is pictured above and includes, from left, Emily Bonta, Felicia Orndorff, Salem Croy, Ainsley Tolson, Wyatt Neal, Dakota Cutsinger, Jarren King, Jesse Farmer, Ashten Whitaker, Emma Norris, Emma Gilham and Sarah Dryer. At left are clarinet players Alyssa Kosse and Emma Gilham. Playing a flute solo was Sarah Dryer. Tim Gilham is the TMS instrumental music instructor. TMS Principal Dustin Jenkerson organized the event as a way to showcase middle school student accomplishments.
