The Grundy R-5 Junior High School basketball teams scored a sweep of Tri-County on Monday night on the road in Jamesport. The Lady Panthers got the night started with a 46-6 victory and the Grundy boys followed with a 35-28 victory.
In the girls game, Grundy got 16 points from Zoe Littleton and 10 from Alissa Webb. Morgan Axtell added eight points and Emma Baxter added six. Grundy also got four points from Saedee Jackson.
The boys contest saw Grundy paced by 16 points from Tyler Stiles. Russell Neeley added seven points, Carson Radcliff added six and Jonathan Stimpson finished with four. Tri-County had one player in double figures as Lance Cook scored 12 points.
