Dixie Lee Patrick Travis, a 69-year-old resident of Raytown, died on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at Research Hospital in Kansas
The body was cremated. Services were held on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at Blue Springs.
Mrs. Travis was born on Sept. 2, 1944, the daughter of Max Patrick of California and Clarice Patrick Bosley of Spickard. She attended school at Spickard and graduated from Spickard High School in 1962.
She was married on June 9, 1962 at Spickard to Justin Travis, who survives of the home.
She is also survived by a son, Daryl, and a daughter, Justina of the home and a son, Leo Travis of Sedalia; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia (Denny) Boyd of Ottumwa, IA and Jeanie (Howard) Morrow of Miles City, MT; two brothers, Mike (Carol) Patrick of Salem, OR and William (Sandra) Bosley of Raytown; two step-brothers, Wendell and Paul Bosley of Ottumwa; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Kenneth Bosley; grandparents, LaMonda and Laila Garrett and Harry and Eva Patrick; and a step-brother, Gene Bosley.
