The Salvation Army will qualify Grundy County residents for its Christmas Assistance program during the next four Thursdays.
Salvation Army personnel will be at the First Christian Church from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 31 and Nov. 8 and 14. To sign up, persons need to bring a photo ID for all adults in the household as well as a Social Security card for everyone in the household as well as a medical card or printout from a caseworker. Proof of income for everyone in the household is also required as well as proof of a current address.
