The Trenton High School Band placed first in the 2A preliminaries of the Mizzou Champion of Champions field show competition on Saturday in Columbia. The band advanced to the finals by having the best score among 1A and 2A schools. Trenton did not place in the finals but, according to Band Instructor Tim Gilham, had a good day.
