The Trenton Middle School volleyball team traveled to Kirksville on Monday night and returned with two wins. The A team won 25-6, 25-9 and the B team won 26-24, 25-13.
In the A game, Laura Carlson led the way, serving 14 times in the match. Ella Leininger had nine serves, Carly Taul had eight and Grace Holcomb had six. The B team was led by Melea Farmer, who served for 13 of Trenton’s 25 points in the first game and recorded four aces.
The TMS volleyball teams will travel to Chillicothe next Tuesday. Action begins with the B game at 5 p.m. and the A game will follow.
