The Trenton Planning and Zoning Commission approved two proposed bills concerning changes to the city sign ordinances during a hearing on Monday night at city hall.
Assistant City Clerk Tracy Maberry said the bills regard the classification of required permits for signage as well as classification of sign permits in zoned areas. The bills will be presented to the council at its next meeting for final action.
Also approved was a request from TMD, Inc. in care of McDonald’s Real Estate Company for consolidation of two lots to allow for drive-thru expansion at its restaurant on Ninth Street. That request will also go to the council for consideration.
