The donation includes items such as colored pencils, markers, glue sticks, jump drives, highlighters, tissues, etc. - 20 varieties of items in all. The GHCAA budgeted $20,000 of its Community Services Block Grant funds to provide school supplies to the 37 schools in its nine-county service area. The amount of supplies donated was based on the percentage of students in each district who qualify for free and reduced meals, with each school receiving at least $200 in supplies.
