As the school year is just beginning, the Trenton Ag Department wastes no time. During their first week of school, on Aug. 23, the Missouri Department of Conservation employees Scott Roy, pictured above, and Adam Brandsgaard came to speak to the students on the career opportunities available in the field of conservation. Both individuals shared their personal responsibilities to their specific jobs and made it clear that there was a job to meet the interests of nearly anyone through conservation. The MDC has 10 different divisions they operate through. From sectors like wildlife and forestry to ones such as human resources and education, the Trenton ag students learned that the MDC has vast opportunities for all kinds of people. They greatly appreciate the time taken by these two dedicated agents to speak with them. The conservation class is taught by Brook Kreatz.
