Area Woman Wins National Title

Abby Neff of Chillicothe, formerly of Galt, captured the world championship title in pole bending at the 2013 Adequan Select American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show on Aug. 31 in Amarillo, TX. Mrs. Neff showed her quarter horse, “Came in a Blazin.” The 2008 chestnut mare, sired by Blazin Jetolena and out of Merri Dashi, was bred by Rick and Abby Neff of Galt. There were 12 entries in the pole bending class.
