Weather permitting work is scheduled to move through Mercer and Grundy counties next week as part of a sealing project on Route A, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Local maintenance crews will seal Route A from Highway 65, north of Trenton, to Highway 136, west of Princeton. Crews will begin Monday on the northbound lane, beginning at Highway 65 and continuing to Highway 136. On Tuesday, crews will seal the southbound lane from Highway 136 to Highway 65. On Wednesday, crews will broom both lanes of the 20-mile project.
Crews will have one lane of Route A open during the sealing project and flaggers will guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists should expect short delays.
