Iowa Boulevard Overlay Project Delayed

Due to the breakdown of the asphalt paver the Iowa Boulevard overlay project for the Township will be delayed at least a week.
City Administrator Kerry Sampson said the paver was manufactured in the 1970s and, therefore, there are no new parts being manufactured. The street department has located used parts out of state and hopes to have them here next week. One part will have to be made locally.
As soon as the paver is again operable, the city will announce a specific date of the overlaying project.
