Poker Run Is Saturday

Aug 29, 2013 | Chamber of Commerce

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its third annual “Jailbreak” Poker Run on Saturday.
The run takes a 100-mile scenic route around northern Missouri, making seven stops along the way. Registration will again be held at the old Grundy County Jailhouse (now the location of the prosecutor’s office) on Eighth Street, across from the courthouse, beginning at 9 a.m.
The fee is $30 per couple (same motorcycle) and $20 per single rider and includes the poker hand, a souvenir photo and a catered lunch following the run. Additional poker hands can be purchased for $5 each. Games and door prizes will be part of the fun at the end of the run, which will wrap up at the Trenton Coca-Cola parking lot on Industrial Drive.
The route stops where cards will be picked up by motorcyclists include Royal Inn at Chillicothe, Quick Stop at Hamilton, Nelle’s Restaurant at Cameron, the Pit Stop at Winston, Frazier’s Westside Cafe in Gallatin, TNT on 28th Street in Trenton and Trenton Coca-Cola Bottling.
