A meeting for parents of fifth and sixth grade students interested in cheering for the fifth and sixth grade football teams will be held on Thursday, Aug. 22 at C.F. Russell Stadium at 5:30 p.m. At least one parent should attend and bring a copy of the prospective cheerleader’s birth certificate and a $10 sign-up fee.
A cheer camp for the fifth and sixth grade cheerleaders will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 27. Games will begin on Saturday, Sept. 7.
