Following a closed session on Monday night, the Trenton City Council unanimously approved three items in regard to the development of land the city owns in the north part of Trenton.
Community Developer Ralph Boots said a preliminary engineering report is to be conducted by Olsson and Associates for $5,000, which will determine the costs to extend water, sanitary sewer and electric systems to that property. Also approved was an environmental assessment on that property to be conducted by the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission for $3,000. The city will also be seeking bids for consulting services to develop a master plan for future commercial and industrial development in that area.
