Funeral services for Donna Sue Warner are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Galt West Cemetery at Galt.
A family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at the funeral home. All attendees are suggested to wear bright colors to the services in celebration of Mrs. Warner life.
Mrs. Warner, a 74-year-old resident of Irving, TX and former Galt resident, died on Saturday evening, Aug. 3, 2013 at Baylor Medical Center.
Mrs. Warner was born on Oct. 21, 1938 in Galt, the daughter of Edgar and Mary Neff Ralls. She was married in Wichita, KS on Oct. 19, 1957 to Robert Lee Warner, who preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1979.
She was raised in Galt until the age of 14, when she moved to Wichita and always enjoyed coming back to her home farm and friends. She worked as a sales representative for AT&T for many years, receiving the top sales awards, which included winning many trips that she enjoyed. She also enjoyed dancing as well as music and arts and especially being with her family and friends.
Surviving relatives include her children, Tammy Majidimehr of Boca Raton, FL, Darren Warner and his wife, Becky of Irving, Tawny Odell of Irving, and Eric Warner and his wife, Brenda of Trenton; a sister, Erlene Robertson and her husband, Bill Folks of Rogers, AR; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Memorial donations may be made to the Galt West or Mt. Zion Cemeteries and left with the funeral home.
