Raymond E. Potts, a 76-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
The body was cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home, Trenton. No services are planned.
Mr. Potts was born on March 21, 1937 in Portland, OR, the son of Edwin and Emogene Whitington Potts. He worked for Leatherman Tool in Portland before moving to Trenton.
He was married on March 25, 1977 in Goldhill, OR to Patsy Sutton, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by five daughters, Juanita Dubary of Browning, MT, LaVonne Peterson of Skokomish, WA, Helen Whitebuffalo of Portland, Nelda Kroll of Trenton and Lisa McCullough of Trenton; two sons, Phillip Guardipee of Newtown and Robert Guardipee of Portland; three sisters, Wanda Manchine, Iris Humphreys and Lois Kougle, all of Portland; one brother, Larry Potts of eastern Oregon; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Freddie Potts.
