Area Woman Receives Degree

Catherine Dryden of Chillicothe graduated with honors and distinction from Capella University with a master of science degree in psychology.
Ms. Dryden carried a 4.0 grade point average during her three years with Capella and was listed each term on the president’s list. She is a member of the Chi Upsilon Chi chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, National Honors Counseling Society. She was also a member of the Capella Psychology Club.
Ms. Dryden is currently employed by Gateway Foundation as a substance abuse counselor at the Chillicothe Correctional Center. She also volunteers as a lay counselor at Soul’s Harbor Church of God, where she is also a member.
She is married to John Dryden of Chillicothe and is the daughter of Alvin I. Lewellen of Breckenridge and the late Donna Lewellen. She has one son, David Baker and his wife, Tressie and family of Trenton and a daughter, Mary Beth Baker of Chillicothe.7-22 dryden
