The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the schedule for road work to be done in the area this week.
In Grundy County, Route C, at the Weldon Fork of the Grand River near Spickard, will have bridge maintenance throughout the week and there will be lane closures in place throughout the end of July. There will be pothole patching on Route A and Route WW while various routes will have spraying, sign operations and drainage work throughout the week.
In Mercer County, bridge deck repair will take place on Highway 136 at the Grand River overflow bridge, one-half mile west of Princeton. One lane will remain closed from 7 a.m. today until 3 p.m. on Friday. Sign operations and mowing will also take place throughout the week.
