Members of the Trenton High School and Trenton Middle School cheer squads participated in a camp July 8-11 at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. The THS cheerleaders received several awards while at camp, including blue superior ribbons for their cheer evaluation, fight song performance and extreme routine dance. TMS cheerleaders received two superior ribbons for evaluations. In addition, four THS and two TMS cheerleaders received the All-American Cheerleader designation. The THS cheerleaders also won first place in a skit competition. On the final day of camp, the 12 groups attending participatied in two events, with the THS cheerleaders receiving first place for their extreme routine dance and third place for their game day performance. In the junior division, the TMS cheerleaders received second place in cheer performance, first place in sideline performance, first place in extreme routine performance and first place overall. They also brought home the spirit stick. The All-American Cheerleaders are Cassidy Trump, Alexis Fender, Kerena Girardin, Emma Norris, Katey Norris and Ayron Osborn. THS members included Karli Crawford, Kerena Girardin, Payton Guile, Alexis Fender, Jenny Frey, Jessi Westcott, Mason Hooyman, Sheridan Jamvold, Katey Norris, Ayron Osborn, Cassidy Cotton, Megan Ellis and Kaylie Russell. The TMS cheerleaders include Thelma Guerrero, Grace Holcomb, Abbie Shuler, Cassidy Trump, Stacey Coplen, Kayley Griffin, Elle Neal, Ashten Whitaker, Salem Croy, Emma Norris, Sarah Jordan and Brandi Eaton.
