The following cases were heard by Harrison County Associate Judge Tom Alley:
Jackson S. Anderson, 20, Trenton, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to conspiracy to commit the offense of passing bad checks. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years, with the condition that he serve 13 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, pay $116.50 costs, a $490 board bill and $331.65 restitution.
Daniel P. Bathe, 45, Kansas City, pleaded not guilty to operating a truck weighing 18,000 pounds or more following too closely and had his case set for Aug. 13.
Rebecca A. Gamble, 38, 266 Cedar Ln., waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of stealing without consent. Her arraignment was set for July 12 and her request to be released on an O.R. bond was sustained.
Gary L. Riddle, 41, 2113 Lulu St., pleaded guilty to domestic assault and resisting arrest. He was sentenced to serve 37 days in the Grundy County Detention Center on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently. He was given credit for time served and the remaining time will run concurrently with an unrelated sentence in the Department of Corrections. Costs were waived.
Jason M. Hollinger, 20, 713011 E. Leisure Lake, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $58.50 costs. A charge of not maintaining financial responsibility for a vehicle was continued to July 23.
John D. Ruot, 33, St. Joseph, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended. A charge of failing to drive on the right half of the roadway was certified to the Circuit Division, with the defendant scheduled to be in court again on July 12.
Nathan C. Ward, 20, Galt, pleaded guilty to harassment and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for one year, with the condition that he pay $116.50 costs and a board bill of $146.50.
Kenny W. Roberts, 24, Jameson, pleaded guilty to five counts of passing bad checks and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $116.50 costs and $1,162.47 restitution. Four other counts of passing bad checks were dismissed.
Laura L. Wilson, 51, Spickard, had charges of failing to register a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, involving an accident, dismissed.
Dalton J.R. Burkeybile, 18, 1015 Merrill St., pleaded guilty to being a minor in possession of intoxicating liquor and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $300 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and $116.50 costs.
Antoni J. Gear, 55, Liberty, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to serve 180 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years and is to serve four days shock time. He is also to pay $300 and $116.50 costs and $118 recoupment fees. A charge of failing to drive on the right half of the roadway was dismissed.
Jeannie S. Burkhart, 34, Excelsior Springs, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of criminal nonsupport. Imposition of her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for two years, with the condition that she pay $116.50 costs and restitution on the amount in arrears.
Harold J. Stiner, 35, 1423 Mable St., admitted violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of criminal non-support. His probation was revoked and he is to serve five days in the Grundy County Detention Center. He waived his preliminary hearing on another charge of non-support and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division, with arraignment set for Aug. 8.
Jeremy Sharp, 34, Laredo, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on two charges of criminal nonsupport. Arraignment was set for Aug. 8.
Cody E. Davis, 22, 815 Main St., was found guilty of domestic assault and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for one year and is to pay $116.50 costs.
Miranda J. Hendricks, Gilman City, was found guilty of second degree property damage and had imposition of her sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for six months and is to pay $116.50 costs and restitution of $326. She was found not guilty of first degree trespassing.
