Jul 10, 2013 | Headline News

The Grundy Commission made appointments to the Senior Citizens Tax Advisory Board and the Board of Equalization during a meeting Tuesday morning.
According to Presiding Commissioner Rick Hull, the commission re-appointed Max Dickerson and Delores Newton to the Senior Citizens Tax Advisory Board. Both will serve another four-year term on the board.
Hull also said the commission appointed Debbie Carman and Marlisa Klinginsmith to the Grundy County Board of Equalization. Both women will be sworn in on Tuesday, July 16, when the BOE is scheduled to meet. The only appointment that has been made with the BOE so far is Wright Memorial Hospital, which has appealed its tax assessment on the physician’s clinic to the State Tax Commission.
