Chamber Food Drive Is Thursday

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual summer food drive this Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Volunteers will be located just outside the doors at both Hy-Vee and Save-A-Lot to collect donated food and other non-perishable items. The chamber is asking the public to help fill the back of a pick-up with items to take back to the Grundy County Community Food Pantry to help as many persons as possible.
Chamber Director Debbie Carman said the food pantry is furnishing food and other items to many families this summer with students being out of school. These additional items will help the food pantry fill needs in the community.
