A Galt man was arrested over the Fourth of July holiday and charged with misdemeanor harassment.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Nathan Ward, 21, was charged with harassment in connection with an incident in which he allegedly threatened Christo-pher Smiley, causing distress to both Smiley and Kelly Vivone. He has posted $500 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court July 9.
Also arrested was John D. Ruot, 33, St. Joseph, for failing to appear in court on charges of failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, driving while intoxicated (persistent offender) and driving while revoked. His bond was set at $1,650 cash-only and he is scheduled to appear in court July 9.
