A Trenton man remains behind bars after being served with a warrant Friday on charges of conspiracy.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 20-year-old Jackson S. Anderson, who was already incarcerated, is now facing charges of conspiracy to commit the offense of passing bad checks. He is accused of conspiring with Shelly Anderson during the month of April 2013 to promote or facilitate the offense of passing bad checks by agreeing with her that she would sign checks on an account from Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri and he would use them at numerous businesses, knowing they would not be paid. Bond was set at $500 cash-only and he is scheduled to appear in court on this charge on July 9.
