Princeton Chamber Holds Meeting

The Princeton Chamber of Commerce met on Wednesday, June 12 at Pearl’s II with seven members and two guests present.

Calamity Jane Days was discussed. The kids tractor pull will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. Kidpower will be putting on the event. The chamber is seeking sponsors for this event. A gold sponsorship is $100 and a silver sponsorship is $75. Trophies will be awarded.
Plans for the July 4 celebration are in place with fireworks at the school grounds. Local talent will be the program before the fireworks. Dancers from Stephanie’s Dance Studio will perform. Karla Meinke will be singing the National Anthem. Glen Kirby is the pyrotechnician and Dick Hoover is bringing his wagon. The Stacy Center will be serving snack food and there will be other food served. There will be a mini-tractor cruise earlier that day and the tractors will be on display.
Jan Simon of the Missouri Community Betterment Program was the guest and talked about what MCB does.
