Marjorie Lee Ishmael, an 85-year-old resident of Laredo, died on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the Stucker Cemetery at Laredo.
There is no scheduled family visitation. General visitation is under way at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ishmael was born on May 13, 1938 in Browning, the daughter of Blaine and Velma Bennett. She was a 1946 graduate of Laredo High School.
She was married in Troy, KS on Feb. 13, 1947 to Andrew T. Ishmael, who preceded her in death on November 23, 2011. She was a member of the Laredo Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning and cross stitching and competing at the state and local fairs.
Survivors include three sons, Max Ishmael and his wife, MariaLee of Chillicothe, Jim Ishmael and his wife, Sarah of Gallatin and Junior Ishmael of Atlanta, MO; five grandchildren, Stacy Zorn and her husband, Andrew of Naples, FL, Jason Ishmael and his wife, Lena of Gallatin, Justin Ishmael and his wife, Katie of Trenton, Aaron Ishmael of Gallatin and Courtney Ishmael of Blue Springs; two step-grandchildren, Bailey Montgomery of Macon and McKenzie Schrum and her husband, Devon of Macon; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Gardner of Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Max Bennett.
