Col. Roscoe E. Moulthrop III, a 68-year-old resident of Lake Saint Louis, died on Thursday, June 6, 2013.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville. Burial will be on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
Col. Moulthrop was born on July 17, 1944 in Bethany, the son of Roscoe E. Moulthrop Jr. and Esther Burton Moulthrop. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 27 years, retiring to Princeton, where he took up woodworking. He enjoyed music.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Pelot Moulthrop of Lake Saint Louis; his mother, Esther Moulthrop of Valley Park; a son, Scott Moulthrop of New Braunfels, TX; and a daughter, Elizabeth Buhr of Chesterfield.
He was preceded in death by his father.
