A news release from the Grundy County Friends of the Arts has announced that disputed litigation brought against the city of Trenton, North Central Missouri College and the Friends of the Arts by Butler Rosebury and Partners has been dismissed as the result of a settlement.

Terms of the settlement were mutually agreed upon by all the parties in an effort to avoid further court proceeding. The settlement was made with the understanding that all three entities continue to deny any liability for the matters upon which the suit was brought against them.
