Cecil L. Power, a 93-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Saturday evening, June 1, 2013 at Saint Luke’s Northland Hospital in Kansas City.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Church Of Christ in Trenton with Dustin Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
There is no scheduled family visitation. The body is at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Power was born on May 3, 1920 in Harrison County, Mo. the son of Roy and Ruth Ella Meek Power. He attended Grundy County Schools. He worked for Mass Merchandising before retiring.
He was a member of Church Of Christ in Trenton.
He was married on June 15, 1946 at Atchinson, KS to Marjorie Newton, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by a sister, Loree Huffstutter of Trenton, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
