Area Road Work Set For This Week
In Grundy County, there will be mowing on Highway 65 and 6 throughout the week as well as pothole patching and sealing on Route Y from the junction of Highway 6 north for 10 miles. Drainage and sign work will also be done on various routes.
In Mercer County, Route Y will be closed from Route E south for one mile for culvert replacement today and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Route Y will also be closed starting three miles south of Route E and continuing one mile south for culvert replacement on both Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also planned on Route Y throughout the week is patching from Route E to Route JJ.
In Daviess County, patching will be done on Route P from Highway 13 to Highway 6 on Wednesday while mowing will take place on Highway 6 from I-35 to the county line on Friday.
