Work will begin in the area North of 17th Street, from Highway 65 west to the railroad tracks and east of Highway 65. Customers can expect some discolored water and air in their house services and are advised to use caution when doing laundry. Over the next few weeks it will be necessary for residents in that area to run the tap water until it is clear and do not do laundry until the water clears.
System flushing is required annually and testing fire hydrants helps to update fire hydrants as well as update fire protection records. Anyone with questions may call 359-2838 or 359-2281.
