Debra McClure Nelson, a 49-year-old resident of rural Spencer, IA died on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at Sioux Falls, SD after a long battle with cancer. She was a former resident of Trenton and worked as an LPN at Eastview Manor Care Center for over 20 years.

The body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Nelson was born on May 9, 1963 in Princeton, the daughter of Dean and Sandra Gott McClaflin. She was married to Marvin Tunnell, Doug Brown, J.W. “Dub” McClure and Carl Andrew Nelson, who survives of the home.
She is also survived by four children, Mark McClure and his wife, Kelly of Spickard, Misty Anderson of Davis City, IA and Shelbi McClure and Madison McClure of Spencer; a brother, Kevin McClaflin and his wife, Lela of Trenton; her step-mother, Norma McClaflin of Belton; a step-sister, Tammy Barnes of Belton; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; an aunt, Brenda Coffman of Trenton; an uncle, David Gott of Texas; and other aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; her stepfather, Bob Harbin; and an infant brother.
