As part of the Missouri Day Festival activities, the Scrappy Quilters Guild will sponsor a quilt show, featuring entries from guild members.

The event will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the Eastgate Shopping Center in space between Mr. Movies and Dollar General. Members of the public will be able to view quilts from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Voting will take place for a viewer’s choice award, to be given to the top three entries.
A special event of the show is a bed turning of antique and vintage quilts, scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be a drawing for a quilt made by members of the quilting guild and a silent auction is also planned.
