Nora Anna Lee “Annie” Snyder, a 76-year-old resident of Lineville, IA, died on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 in the Decatur County Hospital in Leon, IA.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Lineville. Pastors Danny Moore and Max Carmichael will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Lineville.
Open visitation begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at the funeral home, where a family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mrs. Snyder was born on Nov. 27, 1935 on a farm near Modena, the daughter of Forrest and Ethel Hamilton Clark. She was a 1954 graduate of Spickard High School. After graduation, she moved to Cedar Rapids, IA, working for Collins Radio for five years. She moved back to Trenton, working at Trenton National Bank before her marriage.
She was married on Jan. 17, 1960 at Princeton to Max Snyder, who survives of the home. After he marriage, she kept books for Lineville Elevator and MFA, retiring in 1976. She was a member of Mercer Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls, attending craft shows, gardening and cooking.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael Snyder and his wife, Stacy of Lineville and Jeffery Snyder of Mercer; two grandchildren, Rayleigh and Rayce of Lineville; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Raphael, George, Hubert, Paul, Jim and Doyle; and two sisters, Allie Finney and Arnetta Richardson.
