Grundy County Clerk Betty Spickard is seeking names of those who might wish to serve as judges for future elections.

Mrs. Spickard is compiling a list of names to have on hand as possible judges and both Democrats and Republicans are needed. Regular judges are paid $60 per election, while supervisory judges are paid $80. Judges must be at the polls by 5:30 a.m. on election day and remain until polls close at 7 p.m. Those interested in serving as judges may visit with Mrs. Spickard at the clerk’s office, located on the second floor of the courthouse or contact her office at 359-4040, ext. 4.
