Mary A. Cooper, a 75-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Wednesday morning, Oct. 3, 2012 at Grand River Health Care in Chillicothe.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton, with Rev. Steve Bramblett officiating.
Family visitation will be held at Slater Funeral Home in Trenton from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.
Mrs. Cooper was born on April 15, 1937 in Trenton, the daughter of William Grant and Lillie Agnes Gannon Klingensmith. She attended Trenton schools. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Trenton.
She was married to Walter Baughn. She was then married at Trenton on Nov. 9, 1974 to Virgil P. Cooper, who preceded her death on Aug. 10, 1997.
She is survived by two sons, Darrell Baughn and wife, Martha and Donald Baughn and wife, Connie, all of Chillicothe; one grandson, Cory Baughn of Springfield; one sister, Anne Mae Klingensmith of Kansas City, KS; and one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Klingensmith of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David Klingensmith; and one son.
