Window Decorating Contest
Businesses and organizations are encouraged to show their version of this year’s theme, which is “The Sounds of Freedom: A Tribute to Our Military.” Prize money will be awarded in both the business and organization categories – $75 for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place. Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri is sponsoring the awards.
Business owners are encouraged to decorate or give an organization the opportunity to have a display in their business.
To enter the contest, persons can contact Colleen Williams at 660-654-1505 or 660-359-4040, ext. 3. The deadline for entries is Oct. 15. Winners will be announced at the opening ceremonies on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the First Baptist Church.
