Photos of current and former members of the U.S. military are being sought for use in a presentation during the opening ceremonies of the 2012 Missouri Day Festival.

The photos will be used by Sgt. 1st Class Christine Chaney of the Missouri Armory National Guard 548th Transportation Company, who will be the speaker for the opening ceremonies, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 18. SFC Chaney said the photos should include the name, branch of the military in which the person served, the dates served and if applicable, the war or conflict in which they served. Photos can be taken to the Missouri Army National Guard Armory on Industrial Drive, where they will be scanned and the photos returned, or they can be emailed to SFC Chaney at [email protected]. Photos should be emailed in a jpeg format. The deadline to provide the photos is Friday, Oct. 12.
