According to Superintendent Tiffany Otto, she reported that there are 69 students in grades kindergarten through eight along with 20 preschool students. 30 enrolled in the early childhood special education program and 26 high school students who are being sent to adjoining districts. She also reported that SAT 10 testing is being completed this week and that the audit for the 2011-2012 school year has been performed by Scott Stephens, however, it will be next month before the final report is received.
The seventh and eighth grade basketball schedule was reviewed, however, it was noted that there are not enough students interested in participating on a boys and girls team, so there will likely be no seventh and eighth grade team this year.

Approval was given to the faculty handbook and the board tabled a discussion on current enrollment procedures and processes. Members viewed the monthly MSBA board report video.
Instructors Healther Olmstead, Kayla Orndorff, Janet Lake and Annette Sager reported to the board on activities that were going on in their classrooms. A request from Mrs. Olmstead for her students to take a field trip to Lathrop on Oct. 12 was approved.
