Kalinda Tucker of Spickard and Nathan McCrary of Gilman City were married at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Galt Baptist Church. Leonard Brill and Rev. Gene Schreffler conducted the double-ring ceremony.
Tucker-McCrary Wedding
The bride is the daughter of Mark Tucker of Spickard and Linda Dillon of Galt. The groom is the son of Darrell McCrary of Gilman City and Beverly Noble of Albany.
The altar contained a lighted arch with flowers across the top. There were lighted candelabras on each side with greenery and a pink bow. The pews were decorated with chocolate and pink bows.
Krystal Olson was the pianist. The processional was “God Gave Me You” and “It’s Your Love” was played during the lighting of the unity candle.
The candlelighters were Donna McCrary and Sandy Olson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a full-length ball gown with full train and capped sleeves. Lace and sequins adorned the bodice of the dress and the train was trimmed in gold stitching. The bride work a cathedral-length veil and blusher adorned with crystals on the edges. The bouquet contained pink, red and brown roses entwined with crystals and was wrapped in glittered brown ribbon. The bride wore a pearl and rhinestone headband.
Taylor Tuner was the matron of honor and Blayne White and Libby Hendricks were the bridesmaids. They wore pink knee-length dresses with an empire waste and a brown band around the waist made by the bride’s paternal grandmother.
The flower girl was Ashlee Olson. She wore a brown satin dress with a pink sequin overlay, made by the bride’s grandmothers.
Jayden Hendricks was the ringbearer.
The best man was Clifford McCrary and the groomsmen were Nick Steinhurst and James Meyers.
A reception was held in the Galt Lions Hall following the ceremony. The bride’s table was decorated with candles as well as the bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets. The white three-tired cake had brown ribbon on the bottom of each tier and pink roses cascading down. The groom’s cake was a chocolate tree stump with a heart and the couple’s initials carved into the cake.
Heather Sutten served the cake and punch. Blayne White was in charge of the gifts.
The couple took a wedding trip to Branson and are now at home in Spickard.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Grundy R-5 High School at Galt and received her licensed practical nursing degree from North Central Missouri College in 2011. She is employed at Crosswords Correctional Center in Cameron.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of North Daviess High School and is employed by Premium Standard Farms.

A shower, hosted by the bridesmaids, was held in honor of the bride on May 26 at the Galt Lions Hall.
