The Princeton City Council held its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday night, approving several requests.
According to information from City Clerk Keri Stamper, the council approved a service contract with the Princeton Chamber of Commerce to provide $250 for prizes for the Calamity Jane Day talent show. Also approved was a request from Jeff Power for a catering permit to have a beer garden during Calamity Jane Day and a request from Grand River Mutual to use the fair barn on Sept. 20 for Customer Appreciation Day. The council also voted to lift the water use ban.
The next council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 3.
