A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at the church in Newtown. Payne Funeral Home of Galt is handling the services.
Mr. Anderson, a 62-year-old Newtown resident, died at 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 at his home where he was under hospice care.
Mr. Anderson was born on Sept. 5, 1949 in Lucerne, the son of Wes and Beulah Stark Anderson. He graduated from Newtown High School and was a lifelong resident of the Lucerne and Newtown communities. He worked for Herschal and Jack Cooley since 1967. He attended the Newtown Christian Church and was a member of the Newtown Lions Club.
He was married on Feb. 7, 1981 at Newtown to Betty Parsons, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by a daughter, Debbie Curry of Bellingham, WA; two grandsons, Dillon and Dakota; and one brother, Joe Anderson of Milan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Anderson; and a sister, Mary Ann Anderson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Newtown Christian Church or the American Cancer Society. They can be left at the church.
