Rain Postpones Poker Run

Due to the rain this past Saturday, the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled its second annual Poker Run for this Saturday.

Registration will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. at the former Grundy County Jail, with the first bikes leaving at around 9:30 a.m. Bikers will ride a 100-mile scenic route of north Missouri, making seven stops before returning to Trenton Coca-Cola around noon to 12:30 p.m. The stops include Sunnyview Nursing Home, Snappy’s at Princeton, Russell Stover Candy at Bethany, Toot Toot’s at Bethany, Mi Mexico at Gallatin, Landes BP at Jamesport and TNT Convenience Store on 28th Street before heading back to Trenton Coca-Cola.
A catered dinner will be served for a nominal cost and the public is invited to attend. The meal will be followed by field events featuring participating motorcyclists, who will also have their bikes on display.
