Emily Wood of Palmyra was crowned the 2012 Missouri State Fair Queen during a program on Friday at the Mathewson Exhibition Center.

Miss Wood, representing the Marion County Fair, will reign over the remaining state fair events and be an ambassador for the Missouri State Fair and agriculture throughout the coming year.
First runner-up was Trina Stumpe, Miss Meramec Community Fair. The second runner-up was Amy Wilsdorf, Miss Columbia FFA. Ashley Coe, Miss Shelby County, was the third runner-up, while the fourth runner-up was Taylor Bryant, Miss Mizzou Collegiate 4-H.
The North Central Missouri Fair was represented by the 2011 NCM Fair Queen, Kami Nelson.
