Joyce Marie Hayes, a 60-year-old resident of Trenton, died in her sleep on Saturday August 11, 2012 at her residence.

The body was cremated and a private family memorial will be held. Resthaven Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hayes was born on Sept. 10, 1951 at Trenton, the daughter of Everett Agustus and Wilma Rosson Bush. She attended Trenton schools and later moved to Newton and Hays, KS before returning to Trenton 20 years ago. Mrs. Hayes held several jobs and was employed in the health care field for many years.
She is survived by her mother, Wilma Bush of Trenton; a daughter, Jeannie Schmidt of the state of Kansas; a son, Kenneth Miller of the state of Missouri; two brothers, Jim and Tye Bush both of Trenton; four sisters, Helen Stevenson and Trudie Wilcox both of Trenton, Viola Winters of Brimson and Charlene Guelette of Nixa; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; three brothers, Tom, Mac and Bill Bush; and two sisters, Beverly Shields and Connie Winters.
