Leta Wheeler will be speaker for the evening’s activity, which is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at the animal shelter, located at 3401 E. 10th St. Those volunteering at the shelter are encouraged to attend and the public is also welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
