Shaun Murphy, regional youth specialist with the University of Missouri Extension Office in Chillicothe, presented a workshop on Missouri 4-H Recognition Forms on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at the Pleasant View R-6 School computer lab.

The workshop was designed for members, parents, and leaders to see samples and receive tips and ideas on submitting a successful recognition form. Last year 4-H members in Grundy County received 4-H Camp Scholarships due to their work on the Missouri 4-H Recognition Form with over 60 scholarships awarded throughout the state of Missouri.
Seventeen 4-H members were present from the Grundy County 4-H Clubs of Busy Bees, Go Getters, Helping Hands, Oak Leaf Achievers and Rabbit Ridge Rustlers as well as from Mercer County 4-H Clubs of Northern Lights and Pine Evershine.
